Product Description
This innovative book provides a hands-on approach to understanding ADHD.
Pages are simple to keep the easily distracted child attentive and illustrations are black and white offering the child opportunities for creative expression.
Reviewed and recommended by psychologists, therapists, and other professionals as well as acclaimed author Benjamin Polis (My Life and Triumph over ADD) and co-author Kate Kelly, MSN (You Mean Im not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy?!) this book is a long awaited resource for everyone touched by ADHD.
Finally a book that helps the youngest of the ADHD children understand the feelings and emotions associated with their lives. This book can also be shared with non-ADHD family members and friends.
Reader ReviewsMy son is too old to read this book now as it is geared at 5-9 year old children. However, I wish, it had been around a few years ago. With all of the literature about ADHD it comes as a suprise that nothing like Mrs. Kaminski's book has been published yet. This book explains to the youngest of the ADHD population what their disorder means. A lot of children are diagnosed in their early school years, but I have not seen any literature that explains this condition to these kids. ADHD and ME is a fantastic children's book, a must have for pediatrician's offices, counselors' offices, elementary school libraries, day care centers and for anyone who has or is dealing with young ADHD children!
