Product Description
As the parent of an autistic child, I was told that my son's
autism was a hopeless disorder from which there is no known recovery. While the literature regarding
autism was enlightening, two key questions remained. First, how does a baby who is reaching appropriate developmental milestones get developmentally sidetracked and eventually fit the diagnostic criteria for
autism? Second, if an autistic diagnosis implies an entrance into
autism, shouldn't there also be an exit from it? Searching for answers to these haunting questions, and deeply committed to helping my son, I believed that
autism had an organic and universal characteristic that, if located and addressed, would facilitate healing. Through research, observation, and documentation, Comprehensive Organic Intervention was born - a methodology that has facilitated my son's miraculous recovery without the use of additional therapies.
This book was written for busy parents looking for a concise, step by step intervention to facilitate healing from
autism. It is neither a magic bullet nor a hit-and-miss approach, but a program for restoring normalcy and creating developmental gain by achieving and maintaining a stable state in your child. Through the maintenance of a stable state, positive, measurable, and lasting improvements can be witnessed in your child's demeanor, language development and skills, social skills, eye contact, interest in surroundings, enthusiasm to learn, employment of empathy, use of imagination, and reduced or eliminated tactile and sensory defensiveness. Includes recovery story, recipes, quick reference guides, theory, research, and resources.
