Stop Being Stopped aims to optimize physical energy levels, nurture health and well-being and develop the discipline and willpower to meet personal goals and aspirations. It contains Physical Therapy principles, Naturopathic principles and Life Coaching principles and combines them in such a way that supports inter-relatedness and optimal health. The user-friendly "Fatigue Test" assesses the source of potential energy drains as well as providing suggestions to address these problems. It's a virtual roadmap to well-being - balancing good sense, good science and good humour. Stop Being Stopped is the kind of book that professionals and patients alike can benefit from. Some days it seems as if every patient that I see expresses frustration with low energy, low motivation or low function. The book is helpful in redirecting their energy, their focus and their lifestyle choices toward physical and emotional recovery. I have been introduced to Ms. Paquette in a professional capacity and her healthy glow and radiant optimism infuse this book. Health and quality of life outcomes could be positively influenced through adherence to the principles contained within Stop Being Stopped. I look forward to adding it to our clinical library.
