Doctors Huggins and Levy, who have spent years studying the toxic effects of dental materials, have written an authoritative book that accomplishes their stated purpose of "making the reader aware of the enormous and wide-ranging effects of dental toxicity." The authors have done an great job of describing the medical research in lay terms. They cover dental sources of toxicity, the body's reactions, specific diseases suspected or known to be caused by dental materials, and suggestions for dealing with such toxicity. Although a chapter with more clearly detailed information about alternative dental materials and detoxification methods would have been helpful, this work is well researched and well written. Reader Reviews
This book focuses in more detail on the issue of dental induced toxicity. The book is well written and an absolute must for anyone suffering from any vague, unresponsive illness. This book also sends shock-waves through the standard medical dogma of what constitutes "incurables," in that case after case of serious medical diseases were reversed after removing mercury amalgams from patient's mouths. The book is co-written by a physician, who's own health benefits were revealed after he underwent dental detox. His account will amaze the nay-sayers and awaken the nearly dead from mercury toxicity. I am a suffering, long-term toxic reader, and I saw myself in every painful agonizing detail of mercury's wretched effect on once healthy tissue. I have undergone surgery because of its twisted devastating blows, and am certain the grim reaper was riding mercury's coattails. Even if you don't believe that you're being bombarded with deadly poison while reclining in the dentist's chair, read the book. You may save the life of someone you love, maybe even yourself.
