Product Description
There is no other Study Bible like this on the market today! The commentary notes are placed along with the Scriptures themselves. The reader never has to take their eyes off of the text in order to find what the author is saying about any particular passage.
The Scripture is in black and the notes in red, making it very easy to distinguish the original text and the author s notes.
It is the King James Version.
Virtually every Scripture is addressed.
The emphasis of Christ s Atoning Work at Calvary is brought out in the notes throughout the entirety of the Bible.
Various Bible helps are included, along with a concordance, maps and other helps for the Bible reader to understand the Scripture and its historical background.
Those who have already received their copy have said they no longer are simply memorizing Scripture, they are now actually understanding what the Scripture means! It s as if they are reading the Bible for the first time!
Reader Reviews
I recieved this Bible as a gift. The Expositor's Study Bible is like having a bible handbook, bible commentary, and bible dictionary right along with the text in one volume. The amount of research to produce this Bible must have been staggering. I never really thought of Jimmy Swaggart as the scholarly type, but he knows his stuff. The Bible is made with geniune leather, a smythsewn binding, and very high quality paper. This Bible is pure quality, and with a normal amount of care it should outlive its owner. The notes follow the text. The KJV words are in black text, Swaggart's notes are in red text. At first this threw me off, but after a few chapters I was used to it. And the Bible really came alive to me. This format really works. I was especially impressed with this Bibles treatment of Paul's letters. For the first time I read Paul and actually understood him. Kudos to the Expositor's Study Bible.
