Product Description
This must-have reference addresses the role massage plays in facilitating well-being and healing. Simple step-by-step techniques focus on short massage routines that can be realistically incorporated into today's busy schedules. Background information is included to help develop a subjective outlook in both the massage giver and massage receiver. This book is ideal for nursing professionals who wish to include the healing power of touch into the care-giving process or for families and couples who want to help each other relax.
Reader ReviewsThis is the best illustrated and best step by step instructions for administering healing massage, in the brief time afforded by overworked nurses, that I have ever seen. I am professionally trained in Massage, but my sessions last from 45 minutes to two hours! I have always hoped that someone would finally be able to provide training for brief but highly effective techniges that could be applied right in hospitals, where it is most needed! These authors have done just that! I highly recommend this book!
