Creating value through Operations Management.
Operations Management provides readers with a comprehensive framework for addressing operational process and supply chain issues. This text uses a systemized approach while focusing on issues of current interest.
The latest edition of this text has been revised to integrate a supply chain orientation.
I used this text for a graduate business course, and I found that it provides an a little information on just about every aspect of operations management. The only thing that I did not like about the text was that the publisher did not provide a code to their website. The text provided various help and computer programs to assist the student, but the college did not subscribe to the publisher's service so it was not available to me. I spent over $100 on the book, and could not use the various tools the books said to use in solving the problems in the text. The book frequently makes reference to computer programs like Micosoft Project that will help solve the problems in the text. This is a very expensive program along with some of the other computer programs used in the demonstrations. This is not a good text unless you have access to the computer programs and publisher's website.
