Reader ReviewsWhile this book has helped me to get up and running in Adobe InDesign, I am not overwhelmed by it as a resource. For one thing, it needs more screen pictures and clearer screen pictures. I also found several instances where knowlege was assumed - the editors has skipped to the conclusion of a task, without really explaining it. I guess that they assume most layout designers will know how, but for those more familiar with Microsoft products, that is not the case. Finally, the index at the back of the book is sorely lacking. I could not find many basic elements of the program listed there, so the index is not always much of a resource for jumping right to the area you need.
