About The Author
Chris Botello is a Photoshop artist and graphic designer living in Los Angeles, where he works as a retoucher and finisher on movie posters and marketing campaigns for the motion picture industry. He began his career as print production manager for Premiere magazine. Chris has designed movie posters for Miramax Films and served as the art director for Microsoft's launch of sidewalk.com/boston. He is the author of the Revealed Series books on Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as InDesign and is the co-author of YouTube for Dummies. When not working, Chris loves to travel and gets the opportunity to do so as a guest instructor for Crystal Cruises. Elizabeth Eisner Reding has authored many books for Course Technology on a variety of software programs, including Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Publisher. Living in New Mexico with her husband, she spends her free time designing and creating stained-glass decorative pieces, water gardening, mountain biking, and collecting Southwestern art.

I took a community college class online that used this for the textbook. I read the negative reviews (this and other editions), but for what it was supposed to do, it did it perfectly. I had a positive experience and I learned the three programs. What's to complain about? Yes, there were a few mistakes, minor ones, like in one example the book forgot to tell us to add the fourth line, and then told us to manipulate it. Well, that's not the end of the world.
