Reader ReviewsI am just starting to use the book. I am working on the part that tells you how to extract text to copy to a word processor. I can't understand why the Text Capture tool doesn't work. Nowhere does it say that you have to be working from a file that had been converted using the Paper Capture function that applies OCR. As I fumbled about and thought maybe the section on OCR is where I should have started, I learn about the Paper Capture function. I go to the Tools menu as instructed and can't find the Paper Capture function. Finally, going to the Adobe website, I find there is a Paper Capture Plug-in download (free). Four pages later, after being instucted to use the Paper Capture function, it is possible to infer that there is a download available. At least I know not to struggle too much when something doesn't work. It is probably this poorly written book and not me or the program. Try the Help function. Much more useful.
