Reader Reviews
The best books that I have seen for Photoshop are ones that are written by designers who are well versed in computer technology, rather than the other way round - web programmers who knows computers/software very well but are amateurs to design. This book is definately one of the former. I have been creating web contents (using Photoshop :-) for 6 years yet I still find the book immensely helpful and interesting to read. The books covers a wide variety of subjects from concrete issues such as the compression algorithms of the graphics formats and its real life relevance to with regard to color management, down to the intricacies of web design through interviews with top class web designers and looking at other people's work. While this book may not be for you if you're new to Web design and Photoshop you definately must take a look if you know about the subject already and are looking for professional ideas as well as answers, or you're familier with Photoshop and ready to explore the new capabilities with the latest version of PS/ ImageReady/GoLive.
