Reader Reviews
As an experienced Oracle DBA, I wanted a nice text that covers Linux specifics to Oracle 10g. This book is okay not perfect but the only real Oracle 10g for Linux book on the market. Good 1. RAC coverage is decent 2. Linux tuning for Oracle is nice Bad 1. Data Guard coverage is very weak 2. No workarounds for installation issues with Linux and Oracle So I give it 3 stars because its not bad but not great. I hope that the other Linux for Oracle RAC book that comes out next year is better.
