About The Author
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ionel Simion has a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences Computer Aided Fixture Design from the University POLITEHNICA in Bucharest, Romania, Aerospace Engineering Faculty, Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics Department. Professor Simion is the author of 87 scientific papers, 18 books, and 35 research contracts. He currently teaches courses and conducts laboratory practice and design activities for different engineering subjects, such as CAD, Engineering Graphics, Descriptive Geometry, Web Design, Computer Aided Fixture Design, and Product Manufacturing Technology. His major scientific and technical interests include Computer Graphics, Web Design, CAD, and Mechanical Technology. Affiliations that Professor Simion keeps include the International Society for Geometry and Graphics (ISGG) and the Romanian Society for Engineering Graphics (SORGING).
