Reader ReviewsThis book is a fraud. I've been struggling with it for about a month and I can say that this is not for someone who doesn't have any previous AutoCAD experience. I used CADs software since 1985, so I'm not exactly a newcomer in the CAD business. But it is my first contact with AutoCAD and I picked up ....the wrong book. I got caught by the title and the price. Big mistake. First: Several chapters are written for Autocad 2000 (Cheap way to write a new book). The problem is that menus are differents, vocabulary is different, screens are differents. Now go figure how it works. Second: Key info is missing. Chapter 12 (That's where I am at the moment), really sucks. I figured out the missing info because I spent 3 days looking in the help files (I got lucky). So far it's my worst experience, but the previous reading was not particularly a kind of "Follow the instructions" experience either. This book is badly written, probably by an AutoCAD expert, who doesn't have a clue of "How to pass a message".
