Product Description
Newly redesigned for the economy and ease-of-use of our readers, our instructional approach is still the one demanded in dozens of AutoCAD training programs. The authors friendly style and extreme proficiency of the material makes readers and students alike feel as though hes sitting at their elbow while they work. "AutoCAD should be a fun learning experience!" insists Sykes. The 2007 text has been fully updated as well as being reformatted in our continuing effort to reduce the cost to readers. No more Parts I and II youll find all the instructional material in a single volume.
We at Forager Publications are happy to announce that our 3D AutoCAD 200x: One Step at a Time book received an honorable mention in the prestigious Independent Publishers (IPPY) Awards in May of 2006.
Publisher Description
We at Forager Publications have found eBooks to be both functional and economical, and we strongly recommend them to our readers. Our 2007 textbooks appear in both PDF and the new MobiPocket formats. They include full color images, ease of use, and are extremely reasonable price-wise. Because of the limitations that come from including thousands of graphics, however, we have targeted our AutoCAD eBooks for reading on desktop and laptop computers. We cannot guarantee their compatibility with handheld devices (PDA, Palm, etc.). We have, however, made the 2007 series printable in the PDF format. (Alas, the MobiPocket format doesn't allow that option.)
Reader ReviewsI bought the AutoCAD 2007: One Step at a Time series (including 3D and Workbook) and am very please with the product. I only had about a week to get up to speed with AutoCAD (I studied it in the mid-90s but haven't seen it since), and these books were very easy to follow and left me with a better-than-functional understanding of the software. I amazed myself with my final 3d drawing! I recommend the series for anyone in a hurry to jump start their design career at a reasonable price. (I bought the eBooks and printed them.)
