For a senior citizen who now uses a computer daily for work, hobbies, and teaching after his first sixty years with no experience whatsoever in using computers, many of the tasks are daunting. Without the background computer experience that the younger people grow up with, each new (to me) application is not at all intuitive, and this book enabled me to put together a series of one hour Power Point presentations of 30-60 pictures each in less than a day. This was done using only the book and without outside help. I now have the confidence to use it regularly and receive rave reviews for the clarity of my teaching from young adult people in my class.
