On initial review the book appears to be an excellent overview of the Finite Element Analysis method for solving complex engineering problems in a reasonably simplified manner. I have only read one chapter so far, and scanned the rest, but would say that the book appears to be a very practical and results-oriented treatise, geared toward working profesional engineers who need practical applications rather than extensive theory.
