Product Review
"Emphasizes doing what is best for the child based on sound principles of how young children learn. It is not a recipe book as many others are." (Joan Moyer, Professor Emeritus 20040615)
"The book gives a variety of good examples of real life situations teachers encounter daily in their classrooms . . . There are many books with early childhood education curriculum activities but not many with specific strategies for everyday requirements . . . The examples and stories show humor and a good knowledge of what are appropriate child development practices." (Kathleen McGinn, Director 20060601)
"Contains many gems. Gives handson examples that will surely stimulate many teachers to help their students appreciate diversity and become more comfortable with peers who sound, look, behave, or learn in a different manner. This information alone may be worth the cost of the book for many teachers." (PsycCRITIQUES )

Reader Reviews
These books are a wonderful source for learning about dealing with pre-school children on a daily basis. Informative, and innovative ideas which can be used on a daily basis. I am a former teacher and found these books an excellent refresher for dealing with my 2 year old grandson. Amazing what I have forgotten. I have sent copies of these books to my daughter-in-law.
