This book was used for a JavaScript course I took in college. It was easy to understand but introduces topics in a uncommon order. I know a few common programming languages and have read many books on multiple languages and this one is definitely unique. It expects you to do an exercise after every knew thing you learn which is a waste of time for the experienced programmer. Could have used better planning.
