Product Description
How To Create a Magical Relationship, winner of the 2007 Nautilus Book Award in the category of Relationships / Men & Women's Issues, is based on the idea that you don't need to "work on" your relationship in order to "fix it". Relationship coaches for nearly two decades and married for over twenty years, authors Ariel & Shya Kane have identified 3 simple Principles of Transformation that allow people to create a relationship that surpasses their dreams. The Kanes reveal how to recognize and bypass the pitfalls to having a happy and satisfying relationship. This book provides a road map to realizing a love relationship to its fullest and it is also a guide to self-discovery and well-being, since the ability to create a magical relationship starts with one's relationship to oneself.
Reader Reviews"How to create a Magical Relationship" is a wonderful book and it has made a definite impact on my life in general and on my relationship with my husband. I come from a cultural background where women dominate and men can never do it right, where fighting between two partners is often equated to love. This book showed me a new way of looking at myself, my life and my relationship. It opened me up to the possibility of having a real life partner rather than an opponent in a never-ending fight. The ideas are simple. Know yourself; be aware of the mechanical behaviors that have been passed on to you through your family line, be aware of your resistance to saying yes. Be aware of the toxic forces at work in your environment, and above all stop working on yourself and on your partner! The book reads very easily and it left me with a wonderful sense of what is possible to achieve in relationship. Relationships are not viewed as something to work on, fix or change but as another opportunity to experience intimacy at a deep and satisfying level. That sounds like enlightenment to me, and I like that!
