Reader ReviewsI am a professor at a large community college in the Midwest. I have been using SW for over 5 years. I adopted this book for my Fall semester freshmen design class. I have been using books by these authors for over three years. This book does a great job in providing clear and precise procedures on using SW to create parts, assemblies and drawings. The book has you create numerous assemblies: two bar Linkage with various configurations, support bracket, bar and collar, etc. You then insert the created assemblies into drawings. The drawings contain numerous sheets, views and features. You create Exploded views, Isometric views, bill of materials, parametric notes, linked notes, etc. Get the idea? It is a wonderful book from start to finish. This book is accurate, up to date, and easy to follow for all levels of new users. If you are teaching SW, this is the book for your class.
