About The Author


Dan Myers, is an international program manager for the Cisco Networking Academy Program. He is responsible for the international implementation of Academy curriculum. Dan was the curriculum and operations manager for the Sun Microsystems Academic Initiative and the Subject Matter Expert in the development of the Sun sponsored basics of UNIX course. Jim Lorenz is an instructor, a senior technical writer, and curriculum developer for the Cisco Networking Academy Program. He has over twenty years of experience in information systems and has held various positions ranging from programming and system administration to network support and program management.
