Reader ReviewsI've been a COBOL programmer since 1983 and bought this book about five or six years ago. I have tried to look things up a number of times and it never has what I need. The author states in the book's preface that it is not meant to replace IBM manuals. So if you're looking for a reference book, look someplace else. I'm really not sure what purpose this book serves. It is taking up valuable space on my bookshelf and I hate to throw away a book, even a worthless one.
