Much of the information in the first part of the book deals with the installs, including Virtual Centre, and general configuration, but is presented much better that any of the VMware user guides. The latter part of the book deals mainly with programming, and other SDK features, which may not be of use to the majority of admins, at least not in the early stages of use. I wanted a book that dealt with the installs in a very clear format, and this books provides that. It is not the Advanced Technical Guide, but that'll come elsewhere. It does provide some basic information on templates and P2V. Jonathan Swift
