Also saw the tv adaptation in the UK (a series) which was very faithful to the book itself. A great little yarn about a top-level computer consulant who is hired by a big bank to run an audit and verify that all is okay. Needless to say that's not the end of it... however, I won't divulge any spoilers. Well-written and with lots of tension at times, this is a fun read and a great little piece of fiction. Compelling characters too. The story may be a little dated today (the consultant uses dial-up on a time-share system) but otherwise all is very plausible IMO. Back To Top
