- Explains how clusters with shared storage work and the components in the cluster that need to work together
- Reviews where a cluster should be deployed and how to use one for best performance
- Author is Lead Technical Engineer for VERITAS Cluster File Systems and has worked on clusters and file systems for the past ten years

The ideal introduction to an exciting emergent technology-shared data clusters. Thoroughly covers all you need to know about shared data clusters and the cluster file system.
Reader Reviews
I felt this book was more like a beginners guide to Cluster Concepts and Veritas products. You would be disappointed like me if you are in quest for any greater knowledge on configuration of Veritas / Oracle Clusters or any tech details. It would served better if this book was titled CLUSTER IN SEARCH OF STOARGE. I guess author would agree with me on this.
