Product Review
Muller, an industry consultant, has written a clear, thorough guide that explains wireless technology in approximately 100 entries. The entries are devoted to subjects that include laser transmission, specialized mobile radio, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, CDMA, and fraud management systems. The volume's intended audience is business owners who are using or preparing to use wireless, although Muller doesn't tone down the technical details that are necessary to fully understand each topic. The entries consist of a substantial text, several pages in length, with b&w photos, diagrams when needed, a summary, and cross-references to related topics. A full list of acronyms is included. (

Reader ReviewsTo tell the truth this book was ordered on side of the others. But when I had begun to read the explanations was a huge suprise. The Morse codes together with the bluetooth and the GPRS technology! The definition of one Hertz together with the LAN security! That was not a small challange, but the authors solved it and made a really professional reference guide for those who wants quick but real, easy undestandable explanations for their lack of wireless knowledge. Special thanks as a non native english speaker for the acronyms
