This book is excellent. All topics are fully explained in a relaxed, conversational style. Many clear, fully worked examples supplement the reading. The topics are well organized. There is a definite "and here is where this is used in practice" and "here is the important concept to remember" tone throughout the book that is very helpful. I highly recommend this text to both students and those who are learning on their own.
