Reader ReviewsI'm using this text for an Introductory Web Design course at the junior college level. The course combines both HTML and Dreamweaver. This text is being used for the Dreamweaver portion of the course. The text is very much "no frills" and provides enough information for students to get started with Dreamweaver. While the Dreamweaver palettes and menu items offer a number of different ways to complete a task, this text does not dish up the alternatives, but rather highlights a specific way to do things. The text starts with the obligatory information about the Internet and takes the reader from the "Getting Started up to tables and frames. The content is good for an introductory course, however I would have liked to have seen more screen shots as examples. Also a more extensive collection of practice activities would be appreciated by both instructors and students. If you want to very quickly learn the basics of Dreamweaver, this text would be a good one to start with. If you've opened Dreamweaver in the past and have played with it for a couple of hours, I'd suggest something more advanced.
