Book Description
Teach your students to make eight basic folds, then guide them through the creation of thirty folded paper art projects, with this easy-to-follow instructional book.
Most of the thirty lessons in Folded Paper Projects require only paper, paste, scissors, and
crayons, and felt pens. Included are: fish, crab, quail, rabbit, caterpillar, alligator, angel, raindrop, ladybug, bunny, Dutch girl, bird, fish, mouse, pig, cup, hat, Valentine holder, turtle.
You can use finished projects in the classroom to:
* Enrich a lesson or unit of study
* Encourage oral or written language experiences
* Decorate your classroom
* Create Christmas tree ornaments
* Develop into greeting cards
* Combine to create mobiles and murals
In just five easy steps, for example, a student can create an accordion-folded "alligator" that complements a lesson on reptiles or zoo animals.

Reader Reviews
This review is from: Folded Paper Projects (Paperback)
I've used a few of the projects in this book with my Kindergarten students. They were able to create the crafts without much difficulty or adult assistance. I like the book, but wish it contained an even larger variety of project examples.
