I LOVE Mary Kay Andrews's books, but I have to admit this one took me a little longer to really get into. Maybe it's because I'm not too into cooking, but it seemed to start out a little slow. The story is about two Georgia locals who have they're own version of a local cooking show. There is an opportunity of a huge cooking channel show and one of the two will be rewarded it. In order to choose between the two, the network sets up a "food fight" three show edition. They take the two to a Georgia Island and let them duke it out culinary style. Once they get to the island, the story really picks up and it becomes really cute and entertaining. I was definitely not disappointed!
