Product Description
Neil seemed like a dream come true for Rachel: a handsome, impeccably mannered, success-oriented Englishman, the fairytale husband she had dreamed of meeting. By the time Neil and Rachel Entwistle were husband and wife, living the good life in a New England town, it was too late to guess the truth: that beneath Neil’s good looks and manners was a deceit and darkness…
On a winter day in 2006, police came to the Entwistle home and found the decomposing bodies of twenty-seven-year-old Rachel and their nine-month old daughter Lillian Rose. Rachel had been shot in the head. Lillian in the stomach. And Neil was gone. Soon, authorities would begin a desperate search that would take them across the Atlantic to find Neil…and bring him to trial.

Reader Reviews
The author jumped the gun (figuratively speaking) when she published this book. I don't think there was even a trial regarding Neil Entwistle's guilt or innocence. On top of that, the book's prematurity is filled with pages of unnecessary history of the crimes gripping the Boston area. I think the author used all this information to help fill the pages. I didn't like the fact that she picked on the McGuire murder case in New Jersey as an example since according to her, there was a search done on the computer about how to kill someone. What the author fails to point out is that the suspect and defendant, Melanie McGuire, is never truly proven to have been the one who did the search in the first place. Neil's guilt is obviously proven because he ran home to England rather than face his dastardly crimes by killing his infant daughter and wife in their upscale Boston home. This case became the Scott Peterson case of Boston since Neil was obviously the prime suspect because he ran away like a coward instead of dealing with his debts and financial problems like a man. Run away, Neil, but don't kill your wife and daughter. Sometimes, abandonment of a bad marriage might be the only alternative to murdering your spouse and children. A nasty divorce doesn't have to end as badly an the upcoming murder trial. I was quite disappointed by this book since it was an easy read but it failed to explain Neil's background and what drove him to do these crimes but the courts have to prove it first before it should be published. Sadly, Rachel and her daughter Lillian Rose are interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston, Massachusetts.
