Reader Reviews
This is a very useful book at a fair price. Your improved productivity will pay for this book ten times over. The book could be improved if the author made the following changes: 1) Do not print it on recycled pizza boxes. The paper quality is terrible and makes it hard to read because you cannot tell and H from an 11, etc. 2) Start each tip with a little set of icons that show which version of VS each tip applies to. I was frequently disappointed that at the end of a 2 page explanation the final sentence would say, "This feature is only available in C# for VS 2002." Obviously, for someone programming in VB.Net for VS 2005 it would have been really nice to know this BEFORE I read the 2 pages. Other than that the book is great. It is a quick read and with a few short hours of easy reading you will be a much more productive programmer. BTW, the "Hacks" book from O'Reilly contains about 80% of the tips that are in this book, nevertheless I am glad I bought both.
