The book explains the mechanisms of constructors, object initialisation, and inheritance far better than other books I have seen. The ONLY reason I don't give this book 5 stars, is that it is Pre ANSI C++, and doesn't cover the STL, or other late additions to ANSI C++, such as Run Time Type Identification.
