Reader Reviews
This review is from: Exploring the UNIX System (Hayden Books UNIX system library) (Paperback)
This is a good book for people like me (people who are totally new to Unix). It is pretty outdated, but most of the Unix concepts are "timeless" and still valid. The book starts off assuming you know nothing about Unix and runs through all the basics. It is well written and easy to understand. I believe it is out of print now, I was only able to read it because someone in the office had a copy laying around and I borrowed it. Good introductory text and starting point before you read more in-depth books.
