Reader Reviews
this book is bad on many points. what struck me first was the extremely poor quality of the product. the picture quality of the graphics is horrible. i've been involved with high-speed laser and led printers for many years and have taken many a service call for print quality superior to this book. the binding is also poor. when i tried to brush some crumbs off a page, it came right out of the book. editing quality was also of very low grade. paragraphs were repeated, pages were missing and also repeated. some typos are to be expected, and this has its share. it's really bothersome, though, when the typo is such that you have to figure out what is really being said. the explanations are very cursory. i am having to use my other mcse books to get the concepts correct (eg., remote assistance and remote desktop are confused. the explanation of partition labeling is wrong, although the misconceptions don't matter unless you are really doing some fancy stuff. but still, they should get it right). don't use this book as your only source. i would recommend buying another book instead of this, but if you already have this, get something to supplement it.
