The Editors of the American Heritage Dictionaries and of other reference titles published by Houghton Mifflin Company are trained lexicographers with a varied array of interests and expertise. The large print of this dictionary is great and the format is nice. However, this is not an exhaustive source, for there are a lot of words that cannot be found within its pages.
