Save your money and don't buy this book! This book could be for ANY state. Simply replace any state name wherever you see "Florida," and the book works. This is not what I was expecting at all. It's simply a bunch of history project ideas. In all fairness, that description is in it's title, but there is nothing that makes it uniquely Florida and the ideas can be found anywhere. For instance, Project #1 is making a calendar of important dates in Florida History. Simply draw out a calendar for each month, add the Month at the top, fill in the dates, stack them all to make a full year, make holes and bind with yarn. You have to research Florida History and fill it in. Project #2 is finding out how Florida got it's name and make a cartoon out of it. They don't even tell you how Florida got it's name. Other projects included making a pictoral timeline (of course doing your own research, and not including any resources or facts AT ALL, giving a presentation on civil rights,playing an immigration game which (really is more about World Geography), creating a fort replica with popcycle sticks. It is extremely simplistic and a complete waste of money.
