Not once. Not for any reason." *Reader Reviews* I read Pirate's Price a number of years ago and many aspects of the story remain clear in my memory. What I remember foremost is the setting in early 19th Florida - not a common destination for historical romances. I found the characters likable and the romance interesting. Most remarkable is the ending. The end is not one I would have selected but it made a great deal of sense and added to the story's overall integrity. I am in the process of transferring this title to my Kindle to re-read it. Normally I am too short on time to re-read books but I have been in the mood for a romance and I keep on thinking about this book (and Captain Sinister's Lady). It is cold, snowy day in New England ... a perfect time to revisit an old friend Update: The book definitely stands up to a second reading and I find I liked it more on the second reading than the first.
