down quite a bit. Weirdo author sometimes attacks Doug Flutie, by far the greatest player in CFL history, and sometimes compliments him...strange. Other leftist items in here that make you wonder if the author is going through some kind of weird crisis is the whining about how black cfl players alledgedly 'suffered' so much. If that were true, why did so many pour over the border to play in this great league? The historical pieces about the British Columbia Lions AS A TEAM, have obvious mer- it, but the author should have kept his leftist leanings and 'nambie-tambie' politics to himself and this would have been a five-star CFL book. Oh well - could have been a contender...
