    From Library Journal
Coming as this does on the heels of Charles Price's A Golf Story: Bobby Jones, Augusta National, and the Masters Tournament ( LJ 8/86), it is no surprise that some of the same basic terrain is covered. While Price is stronger on tradition and course design, Taylor is better on the nuts and bolts of playing Augusta National. However, the heart of Taylor's book differs from Price's in its emphasis on a year-by-year description of each tournament, from Horton Smith's 1934 win to Jack Nicklaus's stunning victory in this year's Masters. The unique feature of this book is an illustrated guide to breaking ninety at Augusta National; this experiment in imaginary golf attempts to give all golfers a sense of what it takes to play this fabled course. Recommended for public libraries with a golfing clientele.Laurence Hull, Cannon Memorial Lib., Concord, N.C.
