Reader Reviews
In 2004, Don Weekes gave us hockey fans another title in the hockey trivia series, "Hardcore Hockey Trivia". The book is filled with some known and obscure facts about some of the star players from the season that preceded the year-long lockout. Did you know that there is a man who lives in Australia named Joe Hockey who knows nothing about hockey? I'll bet you didn't know that the parents of then 13-year old Brittanie Cecil, who died after being struck by a puck at a Blue Jackets game in 2002, received $1.2 million US dollars in a court settlement. Where were you when Florida Panthers promising player Nathan Horton became the youngest player in NHL history to score on a penalty shot during the 2003-2004 season? Test your hockey savvy with the trivia questions compiled in this book.
