Jim Nelson, who is a practicing Public Accountant, and his wife Mary have lived in Glenwood Springs since 1973. He has always been fascinated by the history of the area and is also the author of "A Quick History of Glenwood Springs", "A Quick History of Marble & Redstone", "Compulsive", and "The Case of the Blue Chicken". He has also been appointed the official Alligator Control Warden of Garfield County.
