About The Author
Felix L. Armfield was a member of the faculty of Western Illinois University from 1995ñ2000, during which time he developed a course through the Departments of History and African-American Studies entitled ìBlack Material Culture.î He is now a member of the faculty of Buffalo State College in Buffalo, New York.
