About The Author
A licensed attorney and a retired law professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Central Missouri State University, Harriet C. Frazier lives in Kansas City, Missouri. She is also the author of Runaway and Freed Missouri Slaves and Those Who Helped Them, 1763–1865 (2004) and Slavery and Crime in Missouri, 1773–1865 (2001).
