About The Author
Larry Gay developed a love for agriculture and a fascination for farm machinery while growing up on an Iowa farm. After receiving his degree in Agricultural Engineering, he worked for Deere & Company for 35 years as a product engineer in two factories and then as Manager of Engineering for John Deere Merchandise. As a long-time collector of farm equipment sales literature and toy tractors, it was an easy transition to start a second career by writing a book about farm tractors. He is also the author of A Guide to Hart-Parr, Oliver and White Farm Tractors 1901-1996.
