This is a rather simple reading book, but perfect for the beginner! My daughter is learning to read in school. So we bought her this simple Level 1 reader book. She read through quickly and was pleased with herself once she was done because of the ease and rythemic flow of the book. I was pleased because it was a nice simple book to begin reading, and because I felt that the ryming aspect motivated her to want to read more (she was very proud when she finished). Thumbs up!
