Reader ReviewsMy daughter received this book for her birthday. She just started first grade, but is one of the better readers in her class. She will not stop reading this book! It takes close to an hour for her to read the 188 pages and she read it 11 times in 3 days. It is a combination of 6 books. Half are at a very easy level (2-12 words per page) and half are a little more advanced(about twenty words per page). It really is too easy for it to be a challenge to her, but she LOVES it! How many first graders have successfully read a 188 page book? It has given her a new sense of confidence to tackle chapter books that she refused to try in the past. I hate the whole Barbie materialistic concept and I'm not thrilled with the story of Barbie dating and how shallow that story is, but the rest of the stories are cute.
