Reader ReviewsThe author's writing style really grated on me. It reminded me of an 8th grade reader. I almost felt the book should have been titled Me (the author) and Victor Wooten. The only chapter written more about the subject matter than the author's relationship to it was the chapter on Martial Arts. It seemed like the only topic he was so respectful of he didn't feel a need to inject himself into it. If only the rest of the book had been written the same way. Sorry for turning this into a review of the author's writing style. I can't remember when a writing style irritated me so much, yet I give this book 5 stars! It is because the book is well layed out, quite complete and tells an incredible story about an amazing person. Wish there was a book about Regi Wooten as well! Yes - I play bass, saw Victor's band just last week :-) and even got him to sign my copy of the book.
