Reader ReviewsI was surprised to see negative reviews of this book. This book, like all of the Five Little Monkey books, is one of my five year old's favorites. The story, about the five little monkeys baking a cake, is really silly and funny. It also helps teach math - when the recipe calls for 2 eggs, four monkeys each add 2 eggs, etc. My husband's birthday is tomorrow and my son is insisting that we bake a cake for his birthday following the recipe in the book.
